It all started in Boskoop, Holland. Gerrit Van Klaveren and his family left the motherland to continue this tradition by serving the Pacific Northwest in the state of Washington USA in the nursery industry. Gerrit then purchased 7 acres in Lake Stevens, Washington in 1979. In 1988, his son, Jacob purchased the adjoining 10 acres which enabled them to expand. Then in 1994 Jacob took over the operation as Gerrit moved into retirement. In 2002 Jacob and Trudy purchased the adjoining 4 acres for the future generations as they continue to look forward to serving the horticulture industry.
We are pleased to announce the future Van Klaveren's Nursery leadership team: Corinna Van Klaveren, Jessica Deatherage and Gerrit Van Klaveren. Through each of our strengths we plan on continuing the partnerships by expanding our unique programs and services to help serve our customers' needs. We look forward to another season of growing for you.
